GH Spoilers: Ava Jerome Gets Desperate, Blackmails Nina Reeves

General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is stuck between a rock and a hard place. She wants to stay loyal to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard); however, Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) is breathing down her neck for information. She also has Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) egging her on, too.

On top of all this, getting “the goods” on her mob boss ex might be virtually impossible as he never brings her into his confidence (for obvious reasons). As Ava knows about Nina Reeves’s (Cynthia Watros) SEC secret, will she use this against her to bring down Sonny?

GH Spoilers – Ava Jerome Is Getting Desperate

GH spoilers imply that Ava will get desperate. With mounting pressure from both Mason and Austin, she’ll feel as if she “has” to throw her new BFF Nina under the bus. If Mason threatens to expose Ava, she’ll lose Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) for good, and she can’t allow that to happen. In fact, the reason she accidentally “killed” Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) was because he implied that he’d hurt her daughter, and Ava was bound to stop him at all costs.

Sonny shares a lot with Nina. If anyone could get information on him and his business dealings, it’s Reeves. Nina is desperate to hold on to Sonny; however, if Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) shows interest in developing a relationship, Reeves would consider Ava’s request. Both Willow and Sonny would cut all ties with Nina if they find out she was the one who ratted Darly out. Losing the mob boss would be awful but losing a chance to be close to her daughter and be a “real” mother for once would be devastating.

GH Spoilers – Maybe She Doesn’t Have To “Blackmail” Nina …

If push comes to shove, Ava will blackmail Nina. Ms. Jerome and Reeves have become very close; however, nothing and no one will come between her and Avery. Jerome still harbors so much guilt over her relationship with Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin), and she’s bound and determined to not repeat this mistake with Avery and be “present” in her second daughter’s life.

With that being said, maybe Ava doesn’t need to “blackmail” Nina to get information, perhaps something happens where Reeves dishes it out on her own accord? Regardless, it seems like this bestie relationship is headed for doom, very soon.
