GH Spoilers: Ava And Austin, Port Charles’ New Hot Power Couple?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Ava Cassadine (Maura West) and Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) will find common ground. Not only that, they might hit it off and become Port Charles’ new hot power couple with the exit of Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).

General Hospital Spoilers – Quartermaine Rejection, Jerome Family Love?

When Austin first came to Port Charles, all he wanted was acceptance by the Quartermaines, and really not even that much for himself. He wanted honor for his late father, Jimmy Lee Holt aka Eric Quartermaine (Steve Bond) instead of the usual Quartermaine snobbery he’d heard of from his dad. But Austin couldn’t even score an invite to the family Thanksgiving, even if he’d brought a turkey with all the trimmings, he was considered an outsider.

But he found acceptance in coworkers, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) in particular, and with her death hangs close to her grieving mother Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati). Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) gave him acceptance and still does, but their romance just didn’t work out, leaving him hanging-then he gets better acquainted with Ava.

GH Spoilers – Ava Cassadine Soon Back To Ava Jerome

Even though she remained Ava Jerome professionally, in private life she was Ava Cassadine, and with the divorce from Nikolas may win the castle in the settlement. Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) may try to fight it, but soon he’s going down and will have nothing to say-Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) may not want it!

The rift between Spencer and his father may never be healed, and all Wyndemere does for Spencer is scream pain and rejection. Ava is able to disassociate Nikolas-pain from the glamour and glitz of being mistress of the castle, unlike Spencer so she’s glad to take over. Austin and Ava are both people with pasts, his infringing on his new life in Port Charles via his cousin Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) bringing his black market body parts business.

General Hospital Spoilers – Two Lonely Pariahs

Ava would never admit to being lonely although she, like Austin in the Quartermaines’ eyes, has at times been considered a pariah. Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) hasn’t even given Austin much of a chance, although that’s because all he knows about him or his dad is what he’s been told through Quartermaine filters. Through various circumstances Austin and Ava find they have much in common and they could become very close, even falling in love.

Ava hasn’t had a guy treat her this right since Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) many years ago, and back then she didn’t treat him right. Ava and Austin both have pasts, but neither holds them against each other – could Austin become the new master of Wyndemere with Ava the mistress?
