GH Spoilers: Austin Has A Warning For Laura — Will She Connect The Dots Back to Ava?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers claim Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) is going to get all up in Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) business, and it’ll leave her wondering why. Austin and Laura have rarely crossed paths. The last time they had much of anything to do with one another though, they were at Wyndemere on Valentine’s Day as Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) gave birth on Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) sitting room floor. It was a memorable evening for both of them given that Austin had just been hooked by Heather Webber (Alley Mills).

Nonetheless, Laura can’t imagine that Austin has any real interest in protecting her interests, so why the sudden concern for Laura’s wellbeing as she maps out her travel plans? Could it have something to do with Ava — who is caught slinking around in the hospital hallways from time to time with the doctor?

Ever since Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) will was read, Laura can’t shake the feeling that the deed he left Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) to a remote property in Chechnya must have some kind of tie to Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss).

Maybe it’s just a mother desperate to find her son, but Ava found it difficult to watch Laura get her hopes up when she is certain that Nikolas is dead and gone.

Moreover, she doesn’t want Laura heading off to a war-torn country where something could happen to her and Ava would know it was on her own head. But it doesn’t seem like anyone is going to be able to convince Laura to stay home and wait this out.

When Ava saw how eager Laura was to hop on a plane and sneak into Russia to scope out this property, she tried to discourage her from making that leap. S

he wants Laura to stay safe on American soil. Moreover, she’s concerned that when Laura doesn’t find Nikolas in Russia, she’ll just expand her search — and it could lead to her really digging into what happened to him after he allegedly left Wyndemere during an argument with Ava, the supposed last person to see him in Port Chuck.

When Austin pokes his nose into the Mayor’s business, she’s going to think it’s a bit odd and over the top for someone who barely knows her. Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) might also think Austin’s interest is a tad unusual.
