GH Spoilers: As Willow’s Condition Worsens, She Re-Thinks Relationship With Nina

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that things will only get worse for Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) the week of May 8th. TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will deliver some bad news to the young mom and her new husband that her immune system is too weak to fight infection.

Not only will Ms. Corinthos have to stay in the hospital, but she’ll also have to go into isolation. The character’s portrayer, Katelyn MacMullen recently spoke to Soap Opera Digest (SOD) about this highly emotional chapter in Millow’s story.

General Hospital Spoilers – Willow Corinthos Needs To Be Separated From Her Family

MacMullen tells SOD that this isn’t good news. Willow wants to be with her children and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) at home during her last days, but her new husband will insist to follow TJ’s orders. If anything, “happens”, the staff at the hospital will be able to respond immediately.

With so much in the air, especially as to whether or not Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will return in time to offer her bone marrow for a transplant, Willow needs to act with caution. Katelyn notes that Willow will be advised by the doctors that the only way to prepare her body for a possible transplant now is to be in a sterile environment. She won’t only be at the hospital, and away from home, but barricaded behind a plastic shield that starts at the ceiling and ends at the floor. The only contact she can have with loved ones is through a phone.

GH Spoilers – She Re-evaluates Things With Nina Reeves

MacMullen tells SOD that the “seriousness” of this situation has Willow re-evaluating her relationship with bio mom, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). The actress notes that as Willow gets sicker and sicker, she realizes that she not only doesn’t have the energy to “hate” someone, but she also ponders on what “could’ve been” between her and Nina.

Katelyn reveals to SOD that the two ladies will have a scene together, and Willow will be open to the idea of having a relationship with Reeves. While she doesn’t have the time or energy to do so at the present moment if Liesl returns in time, the two might have a chance; that is if Willow NEVER finds out that Nina ratted out Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) for insider trading!
