GH Spoilers: As Esme And Spencer Cohabitate, Sprina Could Suffer

General Hospital spoilers hint Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) may have thought he knew everything there was to know about Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl), but her love for Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay) has him rethinking his whole plan. The woman who conned him, and drove him and Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) apart seems like a completely different person when she’s around Ace.

It’s almost as if she’s shedding her dark past and revealing a softer side. As Spencer starts to reconcile the two glaringly different sides to Esme, he might find he actually enjoys watching Ace bond with his mother — something he never had. It’s not going to bode well for his relationship with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), though, who is counting on him to make his living arrangements a short-term thing.

Spencer has been pretty confident in his plan to take Ace away from Esme. But as he watches her care for her child, some doubts will start to creep in.

The way that she soothes Ace’s cries and anticipates his every need will delight Spencer. It’ll be as if she has a sixth sense for motherhood.

As much as he tries to push away these thoughts, they will persist. How could he take Ace from such a loving and attentive mother? When he poses that question to his girlfriend, she’s going to be rather stumped and question what’s changed.

GH Spoilers – Tease Trina Robinson Pulls Back

Trina already can’t help but feel a twinge of uncertainty about Spencer shacking up with his ex-girlfriend, but it’s only going to get worse.

The growing bond between Esme and Spencer may not seem like a threat, but as they continue to share the responsibilities of raising Ace, Trina’s trust in Spencer will begin to falter.

Then, when Spencer reveals he’s not going to pursue custody after all, her heart will surely sink. How is she going to handle the thought of Spencer and Esme cohabitating — long-term — you know, for Ace’s sake and all? Rumor has it…she’s not.

Is this the beginning of the end of the sweet and gentle Trina everyone knows? There’s nothing like a Cassadine to corrupt a woman, and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) might be the first to see the signs of it coming from a mile away.

Losing Spencer to Esme — in any sense — could cripple Trina and make her feel like Spencer has duped her, once again.

Was Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) right to be so concerned about Trina’s tendency to keep falling for every word Spencer spoon-feeds her? It’s starting to look like it.
