GH Spoilers: Are Fans Here For Eddie Maine, Or Does His Reprisal Have Us Longing For Lois?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers leak long-time fans are loving that Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) has woken up from his coma thinking he’s Eddie Maine. A reboot of the 90s, Wally’s fanbase couldn’t be more delighted with his new persona. That being said, a lot of us are feeling like something is missing. Could that something be someone – someone like Lois Cerullo (Lesli Kay)? The storyline of Eddie Maine leaves a lot to be desired without his main squeeze.

While we love Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero), she doesn’t fit this bill. Some fans were hoping that Eddie might perceive his daughter, Brooke Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), as Lois. But that hasn’t happened. Are we going to be able to make it through this Eddie Maine reprisal without constantly missing his other half from three decades ago?

Moreover, does Ned really still have what it takes to be a rockstar? Some of us are asking that question, and rightfully so.

Thirty years have elapsed since Eddie really got to rock the stage, and his most recent attempt to do some at The Savoy didn’t end well. Was his poor form just due to Eddie being dehydrated and recently released from the hospital — or could it have been because he’s 30 years older and out of his mind?

GH Spoilers – Tease Lois Cerullo Is Long Gone

Sorry GH fans, but it’s very unlikely that Lois is going to reprise her role. Last led by Lesli Kay, the actress has moved on with her life as a mother and certified surgical assistant.

Furthermore, it’s extremely unlikely that Rena Sofer will reprise the role – which is really what most of us are longing for.

Eddie brought Lois to life, and she had a similar effect on him. In fact, when Lois first met Ned, he was Eddie. Long story. Regretfully, things didn’t end well for Rena and Wally in real life. If you didn’t know, they were married, and then they got divorced. So, don’t expect them to reunite on screen anytime soon.

General Hospital Spoilers — Brook Lynn Quartermaine May Be A Quality Replacement

Although Eddie hasn’t taken to Brook Lynn in terms of thinking she is Lois, he could take to her as a different form of a replacement for his former love. Not feeling any emotional attachment to her as his daughter, it might be painful for Brook Lynn to entertain such a relationship.

However, it could serve to help the Quartermaine family keep Ned in town if Brooke Lynn offers to be his music agent. It’s likely that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is going to suggest that option very soon.
