GH Spoilers: Anna Targeted By Valentin, Cassadine Brainwashed By Victor?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers are seemingly suggesting that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) could be the one stalking Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

This seems outrageous, considering the ex-superspy is his girlfriend; someone he loves very much, and has been in love with for a long while.

Still, fans can’t help but think someone is setting Mr. Cassadine up. Then again, what if he was (or is) being brainwashed by his father, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), to do so?

General Hospital Spoilers – Brainwashed Before Or After His Death

GH spoilers hint that Valentin could have subtly been brainwashed while Victor was still alive.

After all, the Cassadine patriarch was successfully able to use keywords to trigger Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) into following orders, he may have secretly been doing the same thing with his son.

When Victor escaped to Greenland with his kidnappees, he may have anticipated that the trip could be his last adventure.

Mr. Cassadine was quite methodical in his will, and leaking Anna’s double-agent status happened almost immediately after his final testament was read.

For fans that recall, Valentin was given a rare Greek antiquity from his father. Could there be a weird (quiet) sound that is offering brainwashing instructions, so that Valentin unconsciously follows Victor’s orders, from beyond the grave?

GH Spoilers – Victor Cassadine’s Revenge Against Anna Devane (& Sonny Corinthos) Spill Out From Beyond The Grave

As fans continue to wonder who’s behind Pikeman and what this has to do with Anna and Valentin, perhaps Victor was originally behind the organization, only to pass things to someone else when he died.

Either way, Pikeman may not only be targeting Anna but Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), as well.

It seems unlikely that Valentin would knowingly try to hurt Anna or Sonny. After all, he’s worked so hard on his road to redemption and has not only won Devane’s heart, but Sonny’s respect, not to mention Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) trust, and others, as well.

The only viable conclusion is that someone is tampering with his mind, if Valentin is behind all this.
