GH Spoilers: Anna Is Off The Hook With The WSB, But Victor Isn’t Done With Her Yet

General Hospital spoilers spill Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) must be rolling with laughter in his grave somewhere. Who even bothered to bury the guy?

The reading of his will left a lot to be desired. Everyone walked away wondering what his message to them meant. A few were given gifts that seemed to be borderline sentimental with no hidden meaning, but can that really be the case with Victor — or any Cassadine for that matter? They always have the last word, and when he delivered his message to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), she just knew he wasn’t kidding around.

His cryptic riddles about leaving her with the truth sent chills up her spine as she mulled over the options and wondered what he might have been talking about. It didn’t take long for her to find out. Within an hour of leaving Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) place, she was arrested by the WSB. This was just the start of Victor’s parting gift. While Anna was able to fight off any charges the WSB was mulling over for her, she’s going to be rendered rather helpless when it comes to protecting her man, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). What did Victor plan for his son?

General Hospital Spoilers — Victor Cassadine Got Anna Devane, Briefly

Victor’s grand plan for eliminating most of the population was thwarted thanks to the efforts of his enemies — Anna is one of them. His message to Anna opened a Pandora’s box of revelations about her past, with Victor serving as the catalyst for her eventual downfall. Anna would love to be able to say she didn’t sweat it, but Victor’s message left her paralyzed with fear. Still, Vic thought he could serve up a plate of justice for Anna that she would have no choice but to swallow. Wrong again, Victor. Anna masterfully scared the WSB straight, but that doesn’t mean she’s going to be riding off into the sunset just yet.

GH Spoilers – Tease Valentin Cassadine Was Always the Target

When Victor finally tracked Valentin and Anna down at that safe house in Port Charles — after months of believing they were dead — he gloated at his success. Once again, they weren’t able to fool him. As he aimed his gun at Valentin and swiftly moved to Anna, shooting her in the chest, Valentin felt his world fall apart. He had waited for what seemed like his entire life to be with Anna, and in that moment thought he might lose her. Victor relished seeing his son in pain and wanted to ensure he could bless Anna with the same gift, posthumously.

Rumor has it Victor has left Valentin a gift that keeps on giving. Perhaps it was inspired by Holly Sutton (Emma Samms)? Sheesh, let’s hope not. Valentin is going to struggle with the lasting effects of the pathogen, though, and Victor’s parting gift just might add fuel to that fire. Will we see him struggling again with hallucinations of his sinister mother, Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers)? Valentin might not have suffered enough watching the life drain from Anna’s body when Victor shot her, but he’s going to make sure Anna feels the brunt of the pain as Valentin mentally slips away from her — for good.
