GH Spoilers: Anna Innocent – Who’s Framing Her For Murder Now?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) now realizes those who painted “Murderer” on her front door in red paint weren’t just ornery kids. Even though she got rid of her treason charges from the WSB when she resigned and threatened to turn them in for things, this isn’t just neighborhood mischief.

General Hospital Spoilers – Someone Shows Up At Anna Devane’s Door

After convincing Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to go to Chechnya with Laura Collins, (Genie Francis) Kevin Collins, (Jon Lindstrom) and Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) someone shows up at her door.

The person claims to be investigating a very cold case from prior to when Anna, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) were presumed dead. At least this is not someone from the WSB or they would find a real problem since Anna could take them down with her.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Anna is informed by the cold case investigator, who is from Scotland Yard of all places, that a murder from years ago was traced to her. She insists she’s innocent and wonders if it’s connected to the spray painted message on her door, and if she’s being framed again-who’s doing it?

GH Spoilers – Alex Marick Impersonated Anna Devane Before She Knew They Were Twins

Alex and Anna were separated at birth and never knew each other or of each other until Alex discovered she was alive. A man named Bart (Ralph Waite) was nursing her back to health in a cabin in the Northwest, and Alex brought her back to Pine Valley. But in addition to the memory transfer experiment, when Alex was with the DVX she was tasked with killing a doppelganger-plus impersonating her.

Alex was not as messed up in Pine Valley as she became later, and couldn’t kill Anna when she found out they were twins. Anna suspects she’s being either accused or framed for an old murder committed by Alex.

General Hospital Spoilers – How Can She Defend Herself-There’s No Records!

Anna herself burned all her files from her years with the WSB and probably some from when she was with the DVX. She suspects this Scotland Yard cold case investigator is investigating the same crimes that the WSB was charging her with treason over, and it was really Alex’s doing.

Both she and Alex had done double agent work with the DVX and the WSB in their early years, that’s how Alex fooled Valentin-she was impersonating Anna!

Anna tells the Scotland Yard investigator he has no jurisdiction there and he needs to go to the PCPD for help-and to see the district attorney. If anyone can help her get out of this jam, it’s Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) who knows all her past, including when Alex impersonated her.
