GH Spoilers: Anna Devane’s Risky Plan To Capture Metro Court Shooter

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Anna Devane will be ready to play hardball when it comes to finding out who the Metro Court shooter is, and who their initial target was.

The character’s portrayer, actress Finola Hughes, recently chatted with Soap Opera Digest (SOD) to break down a pivotal scene on the soap opera, set to air the week of July 17.

GH spoilers for the week of July 17th reveal that Anna will meet with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) to discuss a plan she’s concocted. She’ll come to a decision that the only way to flush out the shooter, is to use herself as bait.

Hughes tells SOD that she believes the idea to use Anna as bait is an “interesting” concept. Finola notes she’s seen this story play out in movies and TV shows that center around detectives trying to catch a serial killer or solve a crime along those lines. The actress reveals that Anna is likely placing her own life on the line because she feels terrible that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was the one to get shot and is suffering now; especially if the bullet was meant for her.

GH Spoilers: Dante Falconeri Objects, But Can He Change Her Mind?

Hughes goes on to tell SOD that Anna doesn’t want anyone else to get hurt; however, Dante will object to her risky plan. Still, he won’t be able to change Devane’s mind, but GH spoilers do indicate he’ll convince her to agree that he’ll be her backup in the situation. Finola notes that Anna will hesitate at first, but due to their past working relationship and friendship, she’ll know she can not only trust him, but trust his instincts during any high-risk situation. Plus, she needs help to execute this, as she can’t do it alone.
