GH Spoilers: Anna and Dante Conspire to Unravel the WSB — and They End Dante’s Career Instead

General Hospital (GH) spoilers report Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) may be fighting for her life against an unknown predator, and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) isn’t about to leave her to fend for herself when he is capable of lending a hand.

Anna wasn’t keen on that suggestion, noting it could be the end of his career with the PCPD if he goes rogue with her.

But Dante is having no parts of her reasonable counter-argument. But as they join forces and use Anna as bait to lure this sniper out of hiding, will they also inadvertently draw Dante’s past out of the shadows at the same time?

General Hospital Spoilers — Anna Has Little to Lose

Anna has few reasons not to investigate this threat and try to smoke them out. Someone fired shots at the Metro Court pool and it’s quite possible that Anna was their target, not Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

If she’s going to have any semblance of a normal life in the wake of being stripped of her WSB agent status, she can’t walk around living in fear that someone is going to take her out. But who is out to get Anna and why isn’t the WSB done with her?

GH Spoilers Spill Dante Has Skeletons in His Closet, Too

When the news first broke about Anna’s past as a double agent for the WSB and DVX, Dante was concerned the same kind of thing could happen to him.

A smear campaign highlighting the truth about what he did while brainwashed in the agency could spell the end of his career as a local cop. The last thing he needs is for his own history to come out, but suddenly he seems more concerned about Anna’s welfare than his own.

Alas, we can expect that whoever this rogue sniper is with connections to the WSB — linked by the gun they left behind — they’re going to expose Dante much the same way that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) orchestrated the end of Anna’s run with the federal agency.

What will become of Dante in the wake of such a reveal? It’s not likely that he will be able to remain on the PCPD police force. Perhaps a suspension will leave him scrambling for work, or taking a side-seat to his girl Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and getting his PI license.

A little suspense and intrigue wouldn’t hurt this saccharine-sweet couple. Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers just ahead.
