GH Spoilers: An Unlikely Ally Clears Jordan’s Name

General Hospital spoilers reveal Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) has been taking things in stride with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and hoping that she does the right thing. Now that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) has told Jordan what happened on his wedding night, and attempted to hold her accountable for her role in keeping him in the dark, Jordan is caught up to speed. GH spoilers show Curtis may have left Jordan’s office without much tension between them, but he hasn’t forgiven her for being so silent when such a major issue was at stake in his life. However, the next time they come to blows over this, Portia is going to present for the argument.

It’s always hard for her not to notice the passion Jordan and Curtis have when arguing with one another, as though they’re still attached in many ways. Still, she’s going to put her own personal feelings to the side and tell Curtis the truth — Jordan really did push her, firmly, to tell him the truth, and she was nasty and evasive in response to her.

The last thing Curtis ever expected to hear from Portia at this juncture was her defending Jordan’s honor. Maybe these two really did bond in that basement when they thought they were going to die together. Still, Portia has been so bent on defending her choice to never tell anyone about the paternity faux pas, that this will be the first time he sees any semblance of remorse or honesty from her. Will it give Curtis hope that his marriage with Portia may not be doomed and her character as his wife could be redeemable?

One would think Curtis’ attention would be on his new bride and hoping they can find a way to forge the path forward together, but he’s going to be more surprised by Jordan’s ability to take the high road. Knowing she had his back, but also wasn’t going to interfere in his relationship, it might make Curtis reconsider who he thought Jordan was, too.

They don’t always see eye to eye, but he does believe Jordan only wants the best for him, and he can’t say the same about Portia right now — who was only looking out for herself. When Curtis apologizes to Jordan for doubting her sincerity and loyalty to him, it may mark the beginning of something new on the horizon for these two.
