GH Spoilers: Actress Inga Cadranel Suffers A Very Sad Loss

General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that it has been a long while since Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) was visited by her adoptive mom in a dream.

The actress that plays Harmony Miller, Inga Cadranel, recently took the time to honor a dear friend who has passed away. Sadly, she is grieving the death of Charles Officer, Canadian TV and film director, who was 49 years of age when he died in his Toronto home.

General Hospital Spoilers – Inga Cadranel’s Heartfelt Social Media Post

Cadranel took to Instagram, crafting a post, stating initially that it took her days to find the words to express what her friend meant to her.

In the IG post, she notes that Officer was her writing and producing partner, her “confidant” and her beloved friend of over 20 years.

She goes on to state he was her biggest cheerleader, and there was no one else in her life who believed in her more, supported her work, encouraged her, and told her she could do anything and to never give up.

She states that to say she’s lost a friend is an understatement; she adds that the world has lost a light and angel.

GH Spoilers – Charles Officer’s Cause Of Death

According to Deadline, the cause of Officer’s death was stated as complications from a heart attack.

The Hollywood Report notes that his passing was due to complications following a lung transplant that he underwent in December 2022.

Both news outlets state that he had been dealing with an illness for some time. He and Cadranel had been business partners and friends for two decades.

Mr. Officer was considered a trailblazer among Black independent filmmakers in Canada. He’s best known for his 2009 film Nurse.Fighter.Boy.

He also directed several shows for the CBC/BET+ drama THE PORTER. Officer was survived by his partner, actress Alice Snaden, and young son Selah.
