General Hospital Spoilers (GH) suggest all is not as it seems for Josslynn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) heading into the New Year. A tragedy is about to strike that no one could have seen coming, and it’s going to paint a pretty clear picture of who Joss’ allies are as she fights for her life. Could it be that Joss’ kidney transplant from years ago is about to reverse course? Is it possible she sustained some organ damage during her scuffle with The Hook after all, or is something else amiss? One thing is for sure, tragedies have a way of pulling some people apart while they pull others closer together, and this one will do just that.

Joss has officially gone all the way with Dex, and now it’s only a matter of time until the truth comes out and she has to shatter Cameron ‘Cam’ Webber’s (William Lipton) heart. That’s the last thing she ever wanted to do, but it’s necessary at this point as there is no turning back. Joss wants to be with Dex, but she might take some time to get up the nerve to tell Cam that. In the interim, there’s potential for things to go south as Joss lands in the hospital. We can expect Dex and Cam to both want to be by her side. This will be awkward.

Joss and Cam might have been a bit on the outs lately and haven’t made much time for one another, but that’s because she’s been so busy getting it on with someone else — and he’s been busy pretending he hasn’t noticed that. When Joss is in the hospital fighting for her life, it’s going to bring Cam back to center as he fears he’s going to lose not only his girlfriend but his best friend.

With any luck, Cam’s mom, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), will be Joss’ nurse and stay apprised of any changes to her condition. But it could be touch and go for a while and make Cam seriously reconsider letting this relationship fall by the wayside. Of course, he has no idea Joss has already moved on with someone else. They’ll all be in for a surprise when Joss’ hospital lab work reveals she is pregnant, and Dex will have to keep it to himself that it may not be Cam’s baby.

Watching her daughter fight to stay alive is going to cripple Carly Spencer (Laura Wright). Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) might be by her side, but they also could be on the outs by then if the truth comes out about Carly’s big lie regarding Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) has come out. Nonetheless, with Jasper ‘Jax’ Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) out of the country — and out of the picture — for now, it’ll likely be Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) who bridges the gap as Joss’ father figure. Will the angst of worrying Joss might not make it be the next trauma that bonds Carly and Sonny together? How will Nina deal with sharing her beau with his ex-wife during this tragic time? Could this be the beginning of the end of Nina and Sonny as Carly and Sonny once again find their way back to one another?
