GH Spoilers: 1980s Mousy Librarian Lucy Is Back

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Lucy driving Anna insane when she gets away from the safe house so she can plan the Nurses Ball.

General Hospital Spoilers – Anna Devane’s Regrets

We’re sure Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) rues the day she ever decided to enlist Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) to help her find out what was going on with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). While it bought her and Valentin together, it led to a turn of events that sent her on the run for months looking for Lucy, as well as this current period where she now has to live with Lucy in a safe house.

Well, Lucy has had quite enough and when Anna and Valentin are otherwise occupied, Lucy makes her way to the Metro Court dressed as she did when she first arrived in Port Charles. Her hair is up, she is wearing absolutely no makeup, and she has on glasses and a prim business suit.

Her goal is to see Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and get her to let her in on the planning for the Nurses Ball, but that will be easier said than done.

GH Spoilers – Finding Lucy Coe…Again

When Anna and Valentin realize that Lucy is gone, they both freak out and have their first little lovers’ spat as they try to figure out what to do. But Lucy is determined and for good reason. Lucy just can’t fathom Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) and Maxie running this big event.

“The two of them think they can do what Lucy did?!” Lynn Herring asked incredulously in the March 27, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest, as she explained Lucy’s actions. “She steals a menu from one of the patrons and hides behind it and tries to listen to the Nurses Ball planning.”

When she doesn’t get far with that, she heads up to Maxie’s office and waits for her there.

“You’ll see a balance between the comedy versus the danger because Victor really does want to kill her,” Herring said. “Lucy doesn’t want to believe that, and she thinks the ball is the greater cause. But Anna wants Lucy to understand that Victor could kill the, and Valentin, and their deaths would be on Lucy’s hands>”
