General Hospital Spoilers: Willow Is On The Mend — And Growing Resentful Over Michael’s Secrets

General Hospital spoilers reveal Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) might be on the upswing from her bone marrow transplant, but that’s not the last hurdle she’ll have to overcome before settling back in at home with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and the kids. Since Willow went into the isolation room, there hasn’t been much time for her and Michael to connect, one on one.

But now that he’s allowed to be her bedside companion, he still hasn’t opened up to her about what’s going on in the real world as she recovers. The plans they agreed on for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have shifted drastically. The route Michael is on now will take Willow’s life into a whole new direction, too, and once she has the strength to combat her husband, he’s not going to like what she has to say.

Right now, General Hospital spoilers show Willow is fighting to stay alive, and that requires lots of rest and a low-stress environment that will allow for her body to focus all of its energy on accepting the bone marrow treatment, making new cells in her body, and replenishing her health — leaving her cancer-free in the end. That is all that matters to Michael right now, too. So it makes marginal sense that he wouldn’t bother Willow with such petty things as the drama enveloping his father right now, or his mother’s sudden involvement in all of it.

GH Spoilers – Suggest She Won’t Be Happy When She Bounces Back

When Willow is back on her feet, she’s going to have a lot of catching up to do. Michael may struggle to bring her up to speed on everything he’s been doing since her transplant, knowing some of it could upset her. The last thing he wants to do is set Willow back, and he might take some time to come to see her as a strong woman again.

In his eyes, she has been so fragile for so long, and he’s had to take extra precautions not to stress her out. However, one could argue that Michael may also use that as an excuse to keep Willow in the dark. First, about his decision to give his mom the Pikeman footage. Second, about his plans to protect his father and pay Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to be his new Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). That was not part of the plan they agreed to.

Willow never wanted any parts of Sonny’s world. She loves Michael’s father as her family, but that doesn’t mean she wants her husband mixed up in his criminal empire. No, she didn’t want Michael to turn his own dad in to the feds, but she also isn’t about to embrace that lifestyle and introduce her own children into it.

Sonny’s world of darkness and danger was something Michael was so against before that he wanted to eradicate the guy’s business altogether. Now, he’s suddenly wrapping his arms around it because Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) asked him to? Willow just might force Michael to choose — the mob, or their marriage.
