General Hospital Spoilers: Where Is Spencer Going?

General Hospital spoilers reveal that Spencer Cassadine will be away from Port Charles for an extended period of time. His portrayer, Nicholas Chavez has landed a lead role in season 2 of Ryan Murphy’s Monster, The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story.

This is great news for the young actor, who has already won a Daytime Emmy for his GH role. Unfortunately, this means he will be taking some time away from Port Charles, but is said to be returning once filming wraps on Monster. What will happen to Spencer Cassadine on General Hospital?

General Hospital Spoilers – Will Spencer Cassadine Join His Grandmother To Search For His Father?

According to GH spoilers, Spencer’s dad, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) has disappeared without a trace. The truth is that he is being held and kept alive by the creepy Mason (Nathanyael Grey) but the residents of Port Charles do not know that.

Spencer’s grandmother, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) has gone to Chechnya, where she believes she will find her missing son. While there is no love loss between father and son (Nikolas did sleep with Spencer’s girlfriend), Spencer may be called to help.

He might not want to help rescue his dad but he would never turn down his grandmother. She raised him and he adores her. Spencer would do anything to help Laura. This would take Spencer off-screen for a while and he can return after production wraps on his other project.

GH Spoilers – Spencer Cassadine Could End Up Back In Jail

The young Cassadine Prince has already served jail time in both the minimum security Spring Ridge and the maximum security Pentonville.

Spencer should be watching himself because he has been in trouble before. A judge would be happy to send him back to prison. A privileged kid who keeps getting into trouble is someone to make an example of. Just look at what happened to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

Spencer is a hothead. He has been taking swings at Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). So far, Dex has been patient with him for Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) and Josslyn Jack’s (Eden McCoy) sake, but it’s only a matter of time until Spencer goes too far. He only needs to be in the wrong place at the wrong time for a cop other than Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to arrest him.

His storyline could easily have him in prison and away from the camera for a while.

General Hospital Spoilers – Would Spencer Cassadine Run Away With Baby Ace Cassadine?

Spencer loves his baby brother, Ace Cassadine (Jay and Joey Clay). Too bad his mother is his ex-girlfriend, the evil Esme Prince (Avet Kristen Pohl), who has amnesia and has no recollection of being the horrible person she was.

Spencer is beginning to warm up to the new Esme but he shouldn’t get too comfortable. It is always possible that his ex is faking, or her old personality could always reemerge.

If this happens, Spencer will not want his brother near the diabolical Esme that she was. There is always the possibility that he takes Baby Ace and goes on the run with him.
