General Hospital Spoilers: Where Is Martin’s Money Coming From?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) is hiding something big that prevents him from marrying Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring). He got a text about $50,000 being deposited to his account, and ignored a nasty text from his third ex..considering he’s acting weird about “The Deceptor” has he already patented it?

General Hospital Spoilers – Mystery Third Ex Blackmailing?

Perhaps Martin’s nasty third ex knows something about Martin having patented “The Deceptor” and reaping the benefits of its sales through Deception Cosmetics. She could be blackmailing him with the knowledge, as if he wasn’t already paying her enough alimony; or even worse, a darker secret could be in play. Maybe she won’t give him a divorce and they’re still married-yes, that certainly could ruin everything for Marty if he marries Lucy and he’s not really divorced!

Either way, there’s certainly a huge secret Marty seems to be keeping that causes him to make excuses about marriage to Lucy and acting weird about “The Deceptor”. But even if he had patented it before Lucy made the idea reality, why won’t he marry her-they’d share in the profits; and is the nasty email related?

GH Spoilers – The Third Ex Doesn’t Like Being Avoided

General Hospital spoilers show Marty got the email about the third ex avoiding him right after the text about the $50,000 being deposited into his account. That might mean the ex isn’t an ex and she’s someone he left behind where he lived before, and even his mother doesn’t know about Lucy.

It is interesting that if he’s that serious about Lucy, he’s never taken her on a trip to see Florence Grey (Annie Abbott) who he seems to visit quite frequently. Perhaps on this last trip where he returned from right before making the SEC whistleblower report for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) he’d seen his mother and number three found out. Granted, Florence has been moved from place to place a few times, but now she’s in a place where she’s safe from older son Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) influences.

General Hospital Spoilers – Could The $50,000 Be Something Else?

Could the $50,000 be something else that someone is paying Marty as hush money about something, and how does that relate to “The Deceptor” and avoiding marriage? Just who is this payment coming from and for what, and how does it relate to the ex who might not be an ex who Marty’s avoiding? Are all three things related, or are they unrelated, or is Marty the blackmailer?

There seems to be something off, something strange, and it could have something to do with Martin’s latest trip he returned from-without Lucy. Lucy’s been safe for a month now which leads to the question-is this money royalties from a product he already patented, or could Marty be leading a double life?
