General Hospital Spoilers: What Goes At The Metro Court Pool?

It is summer, and General Hospital fans know what that means. The Metro Court pool is open!

The gathering spot for Port Charles summer fun first appeared in 2021 when it was announced on Instagram. “Welcome to the Metro Court Pool! It’s bound to be THE place to be this summer and it wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of our amazing art department.”

The pool has been going strong ever since, and the summer of 2023 will surely bring much drama to the hot spot.

General Hospital Spoilers – What Is The Metro Court Pool?

The Metro Court is the premier hotel in Port Charles, owned by Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), but Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) was the former co-owner before Nina.

The pool is said to be on the roof of the hotel. Many question whether the pool is indoors or outdoors. It is hard to tell. It definitely looks enclosed with some open doors. If it is enclosed, what is the appeal on a beautiful summer day?

One would think that the wealthy Port Charles families such as the Quartermaines and the Corinthos’ might have pools of their own. Why would they spend so much time at a small crowded hotel pool?

The pool does serve drinks and food. What kind of food? Recently Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) ordered some poolside pate, which doesn’t exactly sound like a refreshing snack to eat sitting by a pool on a hot summer day.

GH Spoilers – Past Storylines At General Hospital’s Metro Court Pool

The pool has seen a lot of action over the last couple of summers.

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) proposed to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) while she was in the pool. When she said yes, all the guests cheered for the couple. There was also that time when Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) pushed Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) into the pool. Then, Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) proceeded to do the same to Josslyn, which led to Trina Robinson (then Sydney Mikayla) pushing Esme in.

The biggest story at the Metro Court pool was probably when “Society Set Ups” held a party there. Many Port Charles singles were in attendance including Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), who had a little too much to drink. A mystery man, who turned out to be Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), suddenly parachuted into the pool and toppled Britt right into the water.

General Hospital Spoilers – The Metro Court Pool 2023

The Metro Court pool is surely the place to be this summer on General Hospital.

It started off with two almost-fights. The first was between hot-head Spencer Cassadine and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), the guy who stole Joss from Cameron Webber (William Lipton). Luckily, they cooled down. Could this be the beginning of a beautiful friendship?

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was about to go after Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) poolside because he believed Ned was the one who reported Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to the SEC. Olivia broke that up when she defended her husband. Wait until Sonny finds out who the real culprit is!

We have also seen lovebirds Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Sammy McCall (Kelly Monaco) hanging out on lounge chairs.

Plus, Tracy is blackmailing granddaughter Brooke Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) into doing some kind of dirty work for her. She distracted Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) by sending him for the poolside pate.
