General Hospital Spoilers – Spencer Cassadne Has Some Bad News

According to General Hospital spoilers, Spencer Cassadine and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) thought they finally hit paydirt when they opened the safe deposit box that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) left and ended up with what they thought was a smoking gun that could send Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) to prison for a good long time. Too bad Spencer knows it is all too good to be true and tells Trina that the evidence is fake.

“He knows that Trina wants to run and take this stuff to the police and put Esme where he belongs but he is hesitant enough that she kind of picks up on it,” Nicholas Alexander Chavez said in the June 12, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest.

GH Spoilers – Spencer Cassadine Just Can’t Do It

So, Spencer tells Trina how he is feeling and Trina wants Spencer to destroy the evidence because she always needs to do things on the up and up but Spencer puts it aside for a rainy day. You never know when they might need this — especially if he wants to get custody of Baby Ace (Jay and Joey Clay).

Spencer and Trina have a bit of an argument because Spencer doesn’t see the harm in putting Esme away any way that they can.

“He’s like, ‘Look, we know she did it so what difference does it make that this evidence might not be real? It may as well be real,'” Chavez told Digest. “She can see that he is determined to use the evidence but her perspective is, ‘We’re gonna do this the right way.'”

That doesn’t stop Spencer from lying and doing as Trina asks. But he still thinks that evidence will come in handy down the line.

In the end, this is bound to cause even more trouble for Sprina and Spencer is acting like Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), always sabotaging things when she has a good thing going.
