General Hospital spoilers tease Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) is struggling to come to terms with what it might mean for him is Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) secret continues to upend everyone’s life. When he heard Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) utter the words that she could possibly be Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) daughter and not his, Marcus was crushed.

How could this possibly be true and why would Portia keep such a devastating secret from him for all of these years? That’s just what he intends to get to the bottom of when he confronts Portia on her own turf.

General Hospital Spoilers — Marcus Taggert Thinks It’s His Turn

Portia’s wedding went off without a hitch. All of their friends and loved ones still think the happy couple is canoodling somewhere in wedded bliss. Marcus knows the truth though. Trina and Curtis are both avoiding Portia right now and have no idea how to move forward with her.

General Hospital spoilers show Curtis doesn’t sound like he can pursue a future with her anymore after this, despite his father, Marshall Ashford’s (Robert Gossett), attempts to talk him off that ledge. Trina can’t stand the thought of being anywhere near her mom. So Marcus is going to take this opportunity to corner Portia on his own and get the answers he so rightfully deserves.

GH Spoilers – Suggest Portia Robinson Repeats Herself

Portia won’t have any new answers for Marcus that she hasn’t already given to Trina and Curtis. Her new husband is floored and furious that she would keep a secret like this from him and never intended to tell him the truth for the duration of their lives together. That’s a big feat when they’re just starting their lives out together as husband and wife. But Marcus and Portia were already married, and he doesn’t understand why she didn’t come clean about Trina’s possible paternity ages ago when he learned that she had an affair with Curtis. He isn’t going to like the answer she gives him either.

General Hospital Spoilers — Paternity Woes

Marcus is going to feel quite territorial about his relationship with Trina. Regardless of whose DNA she shares, that is his daughter, as far as he is concerned. He raised her and has been the only father she’s ever known. When she thought he was dead, she grieved the loss of her father, and he doesn’t want her to feel anything similar to that loss now.

With the ball in Trina’s court, it’s anyone’s guess whether or not she even wants to find out the truth. Right now, they’re all just trying to process how they feel about Portia, and Marcus is going to make it quite clear to her how he feels about his ex-wife.
