General Hospital spoilers suggest Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) discovery of Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) cancer diagnosis is going to make the whole house of cards come tumbling down on his family soon.

Sonny won’t hold back in sharing his revelation with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), since she is the one who collected the documentation he found that clearly shows Willow has been receiving chemotherapy treatments. It’s all going to make sense to Nina when she realizes Willow has a legitimate reason for appearing so weak and secretive. However, what Nina won’t expect is where Sonny takes this news next — straight to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).

Sonny has been good to Nina, so far. She might feel insecure most of the time about their future or his ability to commit to her for the long haul, but he’s been right there assuring her she isn’t going to lose him. However, his next move won’t be all that reassuring as he immediately heads to track down his ex-wife and tell her what’s going on with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow.

Initially, Sonny could suspect that Carly knew all along and left him in the dark, but when he realizes Carly als doesn’t know, he’s going to be stunned. Of course, no one will be as surprised as Carly is as she starts to digest what this means and whether Willow’s leukemia diagnosis has anything to do with why she is looking for her birth parents now.

Carly will carry Sonny’s torch as she struggles to process what’s happening and heads to find Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), expecting him to make some sense of it while also hoping he doesn’t know anything about it. If he does, that means he lied to Carly and withheld the truth from her.

Carly’s bitter attitude when she discovers Drew kept this information from her about the mother of her own grandchild isn’t going to land well with her. In typical Carly fashion, she expected to be treated better than she treats anyone else. She may not have given Drew the privilege of being transparent with him, but she expected nothing less than that from him.

Sonny and Carly both know Michael and Willow are going to need them to get through this, and they will certainly have questions about why they weren’t looped in already if Willow is undergoing chemotherapy treatments. Nonetheless, Michael probably won’t take kindly to either of them poking their nose in, even though he may secretly long for the support and to be unburdened of the secret.
