Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattson) deserves some happiness on General Hospital. The poor woman has been through the wringer. Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) may be the answer.

In one year, Sasha lost her newborn baby son Liam and her beloved husband Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor). That could cause anyone to have a breakdown, and that is just what happened to Sasha.

After Brando’s death, Sasha was in need of a guardian. Her mother-in-law, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) stepped up. At first, her intentions were good, but Gladys got herself into some trouble gambling with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and used her daughter-in-law’s money to pay her debts.

Now that Sasha is doing well and wants to handle her own finances, Gladys is trying to put a stop to it.

General Hospital Spoilers – Cody Bell Sees Right Through Gladys Corbin

Cody may have come to Port Charles as a bit of a schemer, but he is now trying to change. He saw right away what Gladys was up to but didn’t want to hurt Sasha and burst her bubble about her mother-in-law.

Brando’s mom knew that Cody was a threat so decided to plant an expensive bracelet in his jacket to make him look like a jewel thief. Because of his checkered past, people were quick to believe it, even Sasha. But the “Face of Deception” changed her opinion when Cody came to her rescue when the “Home and Hearth” show was trying to give her another breakdown on live TV.

GH Spoilers – Sam McCall And Damien Spinelli To The Rescue!

According to General Hospital spoilers, Cody is in trouble. He needs to prove that Gladys set him up and cannot do it alone. He has now enlisted the help of Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), who is the girlfriend of his childhood friend, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

Sam has called in Damien Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) for help. There aren’t many problems that Spinelli cannot solve, and this is a pretty easy one. It should not be too difficult for him to trace the withdrawals that Gladys has made from Sasha’s accounts.

The only issue is that Spinelli does not like Cody at all ever since the whole “Society Set-Ups” debacle. He may not be so willing to help the man who blackmailed him. But Spinelli would do anything for Sam.

Cody clearly has eyes for Ms. Gilmore.

After the mess he made of his short-lived relationship with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), he will be more careful this time around. If Cody would get out of his own way, he can turn out to be a great guy, and Sasha deserves a great guy.

It is time to get Gladys out of the picture, clear Cody’s name and let a love story begin.

Plus, once Cody finally reveals the truth that Mac Scorpio (John J. York) is his father, all the pieces can fall into place and they can live happily ever after.

Who are we kidding? That would never happen on General Hospital.
