Having her husband laid up in the critical care unit is not how she saw the next step in their marriage going. She was still trying to figure out whether she wanted this union or not since discovering Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) kissed his ex-wife, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper). Now, all she wants is for Curtis to be okay.

But her focus on his recovery will be blanketed in disappointment soon when she learns of a secret that could turn everyones’ lives upside down. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is not Curtis’ daughter after all.

Glancing at her husband’s medical file will become a daily habit for Portia as Curtis embarks on his recovery, which is likely to keep him in the hospital for a while. She will be floored when she comes into information in his file that leads her to question how he could be Trina’s dad.

Perhaps their blood types are far too different to make it possible, or maybe there are other indicators. Regardless, it’s going to lead Portia to realize Trina actually is Marcus Taggert’s (Réal Andrews) child, though she won’t rush to tell any of the parties involved.

GH Spoilers Claim Selina Makes a Deal

Selina is going to be keeping a close eye on Curtis’ situation while he’s in the hospital. She needs to keep up her presence at his club, and it’s likely that she could come under fire from the PCPD while Curtis is conveniently out of the picture.

She knows this, and she’s going to go to great lengths to try to make sure someone else will be manning Curtis’ ship while he’s unavailable. Will that be Portia? Selina may have to do some business with Portia to safeguard her own interests, which could mean Curtis is kept out of the loop of their involvement together entirely.

It’s likely that Selina could get Portia wrapped around her finger in a similar fashion if she tells her she meddled with the DNA test and she is the reason Curtis believes he is Trina’s dad, and the reason Trina had to go through any of this heartache.
