General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Comes Clean to Sonny, Begs For Forgiveness

General Hospital spoilers tease Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) is in serious trouble, and Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) is well aware of it. She has concocted a plan behind Sasha’s back with her doctor, Damon Montague (Darin Toonder). Together, they’ll ensure that Sasha never has control over her own fortune again. As her bank accounts rest in Gladys’ greedy hands, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will start to grow rather suspicious about Sasha’s mother-in-law. Why is she so intent on painting Sasha as a failure to the judge?

When Nina snoops around, she won’t like the feeling she’s left with as Gladys skates off with Sasha’s debit card. But Nina has quite a lot on her plate right now, particularly where her relationship with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is concerned.

She lives in fear every day that Sonny will find out she was the SEC tipster who turned Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in. When she turns in Sasha’s direction to offer a helping hand, she just might get a much-needed reality check about what really matters in life.

Sasha is bound to succumb to this plan Gladys and Dr. Montague have cooked up together if someone doesn’t step in and save her from them — and herself — soon.

Sure, it looks like that is what Gladys is doing, on the surface, but she’s actually out to get Sasha and it sounds like it’ll be Nina who figures that out.

While she might not know the details, she’s going to feel uncomfortable enough with Gladys’ approach that she just may request that the judge let her become Sasha’s legal guardian instead.

GH Spoilers Leak the Truth is About to Come Out

Nina knows Ava Jerome (Maura West) has been right all along; it’s only a matter of time before the truth comes out. Sonny should hear it from Nina, not someone else.

Moreover, her only shot at redeeming herself will be if the truth comes from her lips first, rather than hearing second-hand and as someone else’s version of events.

Given that Nina will be up to her ears in drama with Sasha and trying to piece together what happened with Gladys, she may decide to cut her losses and beg for forgiveness before it’s too late.

When it comes time for Nina to fess up or risk Sonny hearing it from someone else, she just might tell the don the truth. She’s going to expect the worst — that Sonny will banish her from his life.

There will be no wedding, no happily ever after. But what if Sonny turns his cheek to Nina’s sin in light of all she’s been doing to help Sasha, whom Sonny also cares for deeply?

Remember, this isn’t the same Sonny who wound up in Nixon Falls. He’s a changed man, and he may be more capable of balancing Nina’s shortcomings against her better qualities.
