General Hospital spoilers tease Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have been eagerly planning their nuptials for sometime around Valentine’s Day of next year, but it looks like their plans could be poxed by the latest development in Sonny’s life.

Being arrested and hauled out of the Metro Court in handcuffs on suspicion of federal charges is not how either of them saw their day panning out.

Now, Sonny is facing hard time — and for once, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) may not be confident that she can beat back everything the feds have against him.

Without bail to even let him out of the pen, it sounds like he and Nina might be headed for a jail cell elopement. That is definitely not what she had in mind.

It’s more than not knowing where he is at all hours of the night that bothers her. She is starting to become all too aware of how dangerous his lifestyle really is, and living with him and being married to him won’t let her shield herself from that.
