General Hospital Spoilers: Mystery To Be Solved-Does Nikolas Have Amnesia?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease there’s a mystery to be solved, besides the one of where Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) is. Now that it’s been revealed Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) has Nikolas staying in his house, off life support and doing great, why’s he still there-could Nikolas have amnesia?

General Hospital Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine Still Wears His Ring

Nikolas’ watch may have come off and been broken in the process of rescuing him from the tack closet on Spoon Island, but he’s still wearing his Cassadine ring.

He was drinking a beer and telling Austin he was feeling great and thanked him, calling him “Doc”.

If Nikolas is alive and well, why is he still staying with Austin and Austin keeping his survival a secret even from his mother and family?

Does Nikolas, as Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) theorized to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) want to stay “dead” again, running away from his family?

Or does Nikolas not know who he or his family is, like his baby mama Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl)?

GH Spoilers – Is Amnesia A Valid Reason For Austin Gatlin-Holt To Lie?

It doesn’t seem that Nikolas having amnesia would be a valid reason for Austin to lie to Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey) to blackmail her.

The one revealed to be their boss, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) appeared to be clueless Austin had saved Nikolas’ life and was caring for him when he said he wanted out.

Does Cyrus want to keep Nikolas captive-his own half-nephew through his sister Laura Collins (Genie Francis)?

That makes even less sense-the only valid reason for Austin to protect Nikolas and keep him hidden is for his own safety, which is something an amnesiac would need.

Like Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) worrying about Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) remembering, if Ava knew Nikolas was alive she may worry about him remembering, too-putting him in danger.

General Hospital Spoilers – Nikolas Cassadine Could Be Avoiding Charges

Nikolas could be avoiding charges, charges of kidnapping Esmé and holding her hostage in the tower at Wyndemere.

Esmé only knows of her ordeal there, being told by other people-taking care of their baby Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) is her priority now.

When Ava hit Nikolas in the head with that gargoyle, Spencer was going to fight him for custody of Ace when he was born, which had not yet happened.

It’s doubtful Nikolas’ charges would be pursued with no one but Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) remembering what happened. But if Nikolas doesn’t, would he be charged-perhaps Esmé’s not the only one faking amnesia!
