General Hospital Spoilers: Michael Pushes Dex To Finish The Job

General Hospital spoilers reveal Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is going to be hot on Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) heels to get the job done in taking Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) down. The closer they get to doing him in, the more Michael waffles about his feelings toward his father. He’s tired of questioning himself and the longer they take to see this through, the more opportunities Sonny ends up having to prove himself as a loving and caring father.

Michael doesn’t really want to hurt his father, but he’s so angry that he can’t see past it. It might end up benefitting him that Dex doesn’t really want to hurt Sonny anymore either, but Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) won’t be happy about that. When Joss corners Dex and calls his loyalty to her into question, is she going to realize he’s crossed over to the dark side?

General Hospital Spoilers — Michael Corinthos Isn’t Giving Up

Michael is steadfast in his commitment to seeing this plan through until the end. Although he has had his doubts about whether or not this takedown is worth the risk, he won’t go back on his word now. Sonny has to pay for what he’s done — even if most of Michael’s anger is coming from how powerless he feels as he is losing Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) versus having anything to do with Sonny choosing Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) over him anymore.

According to General Hospital spoilers, Michael doesn’t actually want to see any harm come to Sonny, but he’s got to channel his anger into something productive or Willow might become aware of just how much he’s struggling.

GH Spoilers – Hint Dex Heller Is In Love With The Mob

Michael might be holding onto this plan, but Dex is now hoping he calls it all off. That’s a strong turn of the tides since the last time they had this conversation. Three times now, Michael has tried to put a pin in this destruction of Sonny’s criminal enterprise, and Dex wouldn’t let him. Now, Dex is the one who is starting to feel wishy washy about hurting Sonny and ruining all that he’s worked so hard for and sacrificed so much for. Being on the inside of his organization, Dex has gained perspective he didn’t have when he took this job. Now, he’s secretly hoping he gets to keep it.

General Hospital Spoilers — What Does This Mean For Joss Jacks?

Dex doesn’t actually have to leave the mob. He could go down in flames with Sonny like a captain manning his ship, but that would be foolish. It’s far safer for him not to cross Michael at this juncture. However, Dex doesn’t haven’t any illusions about the risks involved in crossing Sonny.

The only way this can work out now while he stays in the mob is if Michael just walks away. Joss isn’t going to let that happen since she’s relying on Michael’s plan to put Sonny in lock-up leading to Dex being free.
