General Hospital Spoilers: Michael Gets A Dex Shocker

General Hospital spoilers tease Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will be shocked when he learns who Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) really is. When Michael put out word that he needed someone to infiltrate his father, Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard), empire and help him bring it to the ground, he wasn’t expecting anyone to come forward that might have had their own agenda. Needless to say, that ws shortsighted; still, no one could have predicted this. Further, when Sonny learns who Dex is, his life will never be the same.

General Hospital Spoilers — Dex Heller Answered Michael Corinthos’s Call

Dex came running when Michael put out feelers for what he was looking for, but it had nothing to do with his interest in being a private contractor after his years in the military working on the right side of the law. Dex wasn’t going to pass up an opportunity to get close to the one person he has hated all of his life.

He wasn’t looking for the connection he ended up having with the mobster, but when he reflects back on his own intentions, he might see that he was seeking that connection all along. After all, Sonny is his father.

GH Spoilers Suggest Dex Heller Was Always Connected To Sonny Corinthos

Years ago, before Sonny even knew Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), he was running a strip club called The Paradise Lounge and working his way up in the ranks of the mob. GH fans have carried the torch of Sonny and Carly’s love all of these years with little regard for Sonny’s first wife – Lily Corinthos (Lilly Melgar).

General Hospital spoilers and recaps reveal Lily’s father was furious with his daughter’s pick for a husband and sought to eliminate Sonny with a car bomb, but Lily was the next person to end up in the car, just days after she and Sonny found out they were expecting a child. Now, nearly 27 years later, we will find out Lily’s father held her captive away from Sonny until he convinced her — and the son she later gave birth to — that Sonny was nothing but a threat to them. That son, of course, is Dex.

General Hospital Spoilers — Dante Falconeri, Part Two

Some GH fans might lament that this is all too close to home. Keep in mind that Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Sonny share no DNA. Dex is not shacking up with his sister, nor is Joss his legal stepsister anymore. However, learning that Dex is his son is going to throw Sonny for a loop even more than it did when he shot Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) back in 2009 after discovering he was a similar plant in his organization — only learning he was his son too late. Will he learn in time before he retaliates against Sonny?
