General Hospital Spoilers: Michael Backs Away From Revenge

General Hospital spoilers leak Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is starting to feel a bit weak in the knees over his vendetta against his father, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Originally, Michael was furious with his father for seemingly taking Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) side in the battle for visitation with Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver). But a lot of time has passed, and Michael has managed to see a softer side to his father — likely brought about by his time being ‘Mike’ in Nixon Falls.

Still, Michael has forged ahead, determined to make Sonny pay for years of crimes and pain against his family, but he just can’t shake the feeling that it’s all wrong. But now that he’s starting to see Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) point of view, he may want to call the whole thing off. How are Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) going to feel about that?

General Hospital Spoilers — Michael Corinthos Is Done

General Hospital spoilers show has been trying to stay focused on his mission to make Sonny pay for all of the pain he has caused. However, his time with Willow Tait and her take on Sonny has caused him to start questioning if this is really the right thing to do. He can’t help but feel that there must be some kind of alternative way that will satisfy everyone involved. Even though he is hurt by the decisions his father has made, getting Sonny out of the picture may not be the best solution for his family.

Michael’s heart is torn between wanting to get some kind of justice for the hurt Sonny has caused him, and setting a good example for his own children. He doesn’t want them to grow up thinking that revenge must always be taken in order for justice to happen — how is he any better than his father then? As Michael continues to struggle with this dilemma, he will find himself feeling more sympathy toward Sonny than ever before. It will be difficult for Mikey to push aside the years of memories with Sonny when things were good the more that his father keeps showing up for him.

GH Spoilers – Suggest Dex Heller Sees His Point

Ultimately, Michael must decide whether or not taking revenge is worth it — or if risking everything by seeking a peaceful resolution is worth going against his instinctual desires for his own brand of justice. His decision will shape the future of his family and he could be reaping what he has sown for years to come if he isn’t careful about his next move.

When Michael tells Dex he’s calling the whole thing off — and he means it this time — Dex is finally going to back down. This isn’t the way he wanted things to pan out either. In the beginning, Dex was eager to take this job, but he may not have realized how much he missed being a part of a family unit. That’s what it feels like in the mob; Dex hasn’t had that camaraderie and unity since he was in the military.

General Hospital Spoilers — Joss Jacks Is Furious

Now that Dex has this element of friendship and belonging back in his grasp again with Sonny and his business, he doesn’t want to let go of it. He hasn’t told Joss that, though, which is going to become a major problem. When he levels with Joss and tells her they can still be together while he stays in the mob, she’s not exactly going to see eye to eye with him. Can this relationship be salvaged?

Will Joss compromise her morals now that it’s too little too late and she’s already fallen for Dex? In order to get her way, Joss may have to convince Dex he is better off taking Sonny down — and taking over for him! Stay tuned for more General Hospital news and spoilers to find out.
