General Hospital Spoilers: Leisl O’Brecht Goes After Elizabeth Webber

General Hospital spoilers tease that Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) helped her old friend Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) when she discovered that he was holding Esme Prince (Kristen Avery Pohl) captive in one of the towers at Wyndemere.

They believed at the time that Esme was the Hook, a serial killer had been attacking many of the residents of Port Charles. Esme was also pregnant with Nikolas’ child. Nikolas didn’t want his child to be born in prison so he was keeping her against her will. Elizabeth agreed to help provide medical care to Esme during this time.

But when the Hook killed another victim while Esme was imprisoned, Elizabeth realized that Esme was innocent and tried to pressure Nikolas into letting her go. Elizabeth knew she could face prison time or even lose her nursing license but she knew she had to do the right thing. But Esme escaped before that could happen and turned up in Port Charles with amnesia. Even though Esme could no longer identify her, Elizabeth decided to come clean anyway.

Elizabeth eventually came clean with the police and was given an immunity deal. The hospital review board also allowed Elizabeth to continue working at General Hospital. Almost everything has worked out in Elizabeth’s favor. Elizabeth has a lot of guilt for what she has done and she knows she got off easy.

There is one other person who thinks so as well. Because authorities also believed that Esme was the killer, they didn’t investigate other possibilities. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) was killed by the Hook during this time.

General Hospital Spoilers – Dr. O’Brecht Blames Elizabeth Webber For Britt Westbourne’s Death!

Dr. Leisl O’Brecht (Kathleen Gati) blames Elizabeth for Britt’s death. If the police knew Esme wasn’t the Hook, they might have caught the real killer, Heather Webber (Allie Mills) much sooner. O’Brecht will believe that Elizabeth has gotten off to easy so look for her to do everything in her power to make Elizabeth pay.

Elizabeth will soon become the Head of Nursing at General Hospital and that may give Leisl an idea for revenge. If she can sabotage Elizabeth at work, perhaps she can end Elizabeth’s career and at least get a little bit of revenge for Britt’s death.
