General Hospital Spoilers: Laura’s Search For Nikolas Grows Dangerous

General Hospital spoilers reveal Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) are still flying under the radar in Chechnya and doing their best to track Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) down.

As every stone they overturn leaves no evidence he was ever in Russia, they have to start wondering soon just why Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) left that deed to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) — and what he thought would happen to his great nephew if he had traveled there himself. Was this all a trap for Spencer?

As Laura hopes to get to the bottom of that mystery, she could find herself in grave danger. At the same time back home, Ava Jerome (Maura West) may learn she’s not in as much danger as she thought, because her ex-husband is alive after all. But will she have the nerve to tell Laura the truth — including how she tried to kill him?

We haven’t seen Laura and Kevin in a few weeks, but the story is still underway that they are turning over leaves left and right in Russia hoping one of them unearths a secret about where Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) might be hunkered down.

Rumor has it they might get a lead that takes them in a new — and rather risky — direction.

When Ava catches wind of the trouble the Mayor might be in as she searches for her son, will she have a crisis of conscience and feel forced to tell the truth?

GH Spoilers – Hint Ava Jerome Learns Nikolas Cassadine Isn’t Dead

Ava could jump the gun and decide she can’t let Laura perish in the pursuit of Nikolas’ whereabouts when he’s not going to be found alive, but she knows that revealing what happened between them would most certainly mean the end of her own freedom.

Faced with being thrown in a jail cell for the rest of time and potentially leaving her daughter without a parent to raise her since Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is currently in the same state isn’t a gamble she’s likely to take.

But things could change when Ava learns the truth — that she didn’t kill Nikolas and he’s not going to let her forget that she tried.

General Hospital Spoilers — Will She Spill the Beans?

Will sending his mother after him help to keep him in line and off of Ava’s back while also ensuring Laura can come back to the United States and stop this dangerous manhunt?

If it will relieve Ava’s guilt and anxiety, she might rattle as fast as possible and get word to Laura that she needs to come home. But she would still risk everyone finding out the truth.

At the same time, Nik is a wanted man and the PCPD would be into him as soon as his mother was.

Will they reach a stalemate, and will Nik have the heart to tell his mom he’s ok and bring her home?
