General Hospital Spoilers: Is Willow Tait-Corinthos Leaving Port Charles?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest there could be some major shake-ups in the land of Port Charles. Willow Tait-Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) has established real roots in the little town. Her bio mom is Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), she’s married to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), and the two have a growing family together in Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Amelia Corinthos (Bo Harrison).

With that said, there’s nothing soap operas love more than a Greek-tragedy storyline and often they get rid of popular characters, just for the shock value. Could Willow suffer that consequence, too?

Back in 2007, Emily Quartermaine (Natalia Livingston) was axed by the Text Message Killer, unexpectedly, surprising many fans. Who could forget her father Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Damon) dying that same year when he suffered a heart attack during the Metro Court hotel hostage crisis? There was no reason for it, other than “shock” value.

How about the multiple times Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has exited the show, as well as Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) when actor Billy Miller left the series in 2019? Both roles could’ve been recast (and both eventually were); however, the “deaths” provided a much-needed plot twist in storylines, so GH went for it.

GH Spoilers – Fans Would Be Devastated If Willow Tait Left

The Willow character has been through so much over the years. She’s escaped a cult, given her baby up for adoption only to learn the child passed, found out that her number two top enemies in town, Nina and Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) were actually bio family and that her “parents” weren’t really her “parents”, and fought leukemia. All she’s ever wanted was roots and a real family, which she finally has in the Corinthos clan and Quartermaines, not to mention the extended family Nina brings. So, if Ms. Corinthos were to leave storylines (or die), many fans would be devastated. She’s finally living her “happily after ever”.
