General Hospital Spoilers: Is The Metro Court Pool Cursed?

General Hospital spoilers hint that the Metro Court pool may be cursed. We have seen violence and bloodshed at Port Charles’ favorite hot spot during the summer of 2023.

Olivia Quatermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and her former co-owner, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), announced the opening of the pool and bar in 2021. Since then, Port Charles residents young and old can be found there at any time of the day. There is always something happening in the outdoor setting.

In 2022, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) parachuted into the pool at the infamous Society Set-Ups get-together. That same year, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) proposed to Portia Robinson in front of a crowd at the pool.

2023 seems to have a black cloud hanging over the Metro Court outdoor scene.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ned Quartermaine Takes A Spill At The Metro Court Pool

Early in the season, there was a horrible accident at the pool.

Most of Port Charles believed that Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) was the one who turned Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) into the SEC, which eventually got Drew sent to prison.

Ned was innocent and was finally able to prove it. He overheard Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) admit to her attorney Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) she was the one who made the call that led to the arrest.

Ned was so excited that he ran to the pool to give Drew this new information. Unfortunately, he fell and hit his head. Now he thinks he is rock star Eddie Maine.

GH Spoilers – Then There Was The Shooting

It was a crowded day at the pool when shots rang out. Everyone was having a lovely time when Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) spotted a shooter. Suddenly, there was chaos and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) was the one who took the bullet.

Curtis does not appear to be the intended target. It was most likely meant for either Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) or Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). Those two are often shot at.

Now it seems that Curtis is paralyzed. But in the soap world, he eventually may make a full recovery.

General Hospital Spoilers – The Stabbing At The Pool

If we thought the pool would go back to just being a make-out spot for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), we were wrong.

Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattson) was being interviewed for a magazine. Little did she know, she was drugged by her mother-in-law, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), and her psychiatrist Dr. Montague (Darin Toonder).

Poor Sasha was delusional and stabbed her friend Cody Bell. Now she is in the dreaded Ferncliff Asylum.

How did the Metro Court pool become such a dangerous place? The good people of Port Charles need a new hangout. Maybe Kelly’s Diner now that Carly is the new owner?
