General Hospital Spoilers: Is Sasha Gilmore’s Sofia Mattsson Pregnant?

GH spoilers (GH) spoilers suggest that Sasha Gilmore may dive into a romance with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) at some point in the future. With that said, fans have been buzzing on social media as of late, speculating on whether or not the character’s portrayer, actress Sofia Mattsson, may be expecting. Her long flowy dress at the 2023 Nurse’s Ball had viewers raising an eyebrow, as it seemingly was trying to hide a baby bump. Other recent photos and scenes on the show indicate the same thing. Could the actress be expecting baby #2?

General Hospital Spoilers – Last Time Around, Sofia Mattsson Kept Her Pregnancy Quiet

Sofia Mattsson already has a son with hubby Thomas Payton, whom she gave birth to in the summer of 2021. While it was eventually incorporated into GH storylines when Sasha found out she was expecting after a one-nighter with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), the actress herself revealed her pregnancy two months before her delivery date.

It is very likely that Sofia is deciding to keep her pregnancy hidden once again until she moves further along. Many moms like making that type of announcement, closer to delivery.

GH Spoilers – Will The Soap Add A Pregnancy Storyline For Sasha Gilmore?

Unlike the last time, it doesn’t seem as if the soap opera will include Sofia’s real-life pregnancy in a storyline for Sasha. Gilmore is single and while she has developed a nice friendship with Cody, they are nowhere near a romance. Especially with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burrough) lurking around trying to frame Bell for stealing her bracelet. Cody has been “encouraging” Ms. Corbin to come clean to Sasha about spending her fortune and her gambling addiction. If anything, Gladys will come between any relationship that Sasha and Cody try to form, whether that be friendly or romantic.

Fans will have to wait and see in the weeks ahead if Sofia makes an announcement. Last time around her sister, Helena Mattsson filled in for her during her maternity leave from the soap. Will she do so again for baby #2? Only time will tell.
