General Hospital Spoilers reveal Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) is eager to see his lawsuit against the WSB take flight. Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) has as much as promised millions of dollars that could do the federal organization in — permanently.

When Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) conspired to make Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) think the Ice Princess necklace was destroyed in a fire, they went all the way – actually destroying it. But that wasn’t their property to destroy, and Cody is intent on seeing that he is compensated for his loss. The only problem is, it’s not really his loss, is it?

General Hospital Spoilers — The Lawsuit Presses On

Cody is going to meet with Scott soon and he’ll be delighted by the good news that the lawsuit will proceed. Getting that green light is all Cody was waiting on. He’s practically going to be salivating as he pictures what his future will be like after he is awarded the inheritance he has convinced himself he deserves.

According to GH spoilers, Cody keeps telling himself that he’s doing this for a good cause — even being willing to share half of the inheritance proceeds with Serena Baldwin (Carly Schroeder). But that’s not how everyone will see it.

GH Spoilers – Tease Dante Gives Cody Bell An Earful

When Cody tells Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) what he’s up to, his childhood chum is going to be stunned. He really shouldn’t be, should he? After all, Cody has always been a grifter and a con artist. But Dante really thought he was getting his act together since he came to Port Chuck.

Did Cody learn nothing from his entanglements with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thhiebaud)? It seems as though he has not. Dante wants to give his pal the benefit of the doubt, but how can he when Cody is chasing after a federal organization for compensation for something that never really belonged to him?

General Hospital Spoilers — Paternity Problems Lie Ahead

Cody probably isn’t thinking this through, but Dante might give him something to think about. Pursuing this lawsuit may mean that Cody has to prove he is Leopold Taub’s (Chip Lucia) son. Merely having proof that he is not Mac Scorpio’s (John J. York) child wouldn’t suffice — not that he can provide that anyway!

Cody only holds proof that he is Mac’s child. If the court requires a paternity test — at the very least, proving Mac is not his father – Cody is going to be digging his own grave.
