Over the Christmas season, we saw Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) travel with his daughter, Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher), to Oregon. Ellie Trout (Emily Wilson) didn’t want to spend the holiday alone and without the young girl she helped to raise.

We caught a brief glimpse into Ellie’s lifestyle, and realized she had reconnected with an old friend from Port Charles. That would be Griffin. Her demeanor and tone painted their relationship as more than friends, but are they?

When Kiki’s mother, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), was entangled with psycho killer Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom), Kiki paid the ultimate price with her life. Except, she didn’t. Kiki was close to death, but she survived — with Griffin’s help.

It’s a good thing his training in med school came to good use during that time, because he had to nurse her back to health behind closed doors without her mother or anyone else finding out.

It was vital that everyone believed Kiki really did die that night on The Haunted Star after being captured and strangled by Ryan. Now, Griffin and Ellie are coming back to town with news that will rock Ava’s world.
