General Hospital Spoilers reveal Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) isn’t having a baby — and now Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) knows it. When Finn confronted Elizabeth about drinking at Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) party and how it wasn’t good for the baby, she blurted out the news of her “miscarriage.” Finn was taken aback by the news, and immediately offered his condolences. They didn’t speak long, but certainly, Finn had to have felt a twinge when he heard that like there might be an ember of hope left for his love for Elizabeth. Is there?

According to General Hospital spoilers, Elizabeth did say the relationship with her and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) was never going to last. She wanted to let Finn know it was over, in her own way. At the same time, she may have left him with the impression that their love affair being over meant she would have no more secrets to hide — especially secrets she shares with Nikolas. When Finn reassured Elizabeth that her boys would never hear of her affair or “pregnancy” from him, he meant it. That doesn’t mean they aren’t going to though. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) has a rather loud mouth, but these things do often have a way of coming to light on accident when there are so many moving parts and lies.

Esme’s new residence is now at General Hospital, but we’ve yet to see what shape she’s really in and what her agenda will be going forward. When Finn realizes Esme is not only back in Port Charles but in the hospital and a pregnant patient, he just might start putting two and two together. Was Elizabeth’s pregnancy just a cover for Esme’s? Did she really think she was going to pull off pretending to be newly pregnant six months behind Esme’s pregnancy? The closer he examines how everything went down, the faster he’s going to realize the prenatal vitamins were Esme’s, and that Elizabeth knew she was staying at Wyndemere. The ball of lies is snowballing into a larger one and Finn has noticed everything isn’t what it seems. As much as he would love to think Elizabeth wouldn’t lie to him about something this serious, and as much as he desperately hopes she wasn’t privy to holding a pregnant woman hostage — a fugitive from justice, at that — Finn also wants to believe anything that would make it so Elizabeth never really cheated on him.
