General Hospital Spoilers: Elizabeth And Drew Reconnect After Breakup!

General Hospital spoilers tease that Drew Cain (Cameron Matheson) currently only has eyes for Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) at the moment. So much so that he was willing to take the fall for her crime of insider trading.

While Drew received a prison sentence, Carly was faced with a hefty fine of 5 million dollars. But this couple vowed to stay together even through all of these troubles.

Carly intends to stay faithful to Drew, but it likely won’t be long before she’s once again drawn to Sonny, especially once Sonny discovers that it was his fiancé, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) who tipped of the SEC to Carly’s crimes in the first place.

General Hospital Spoilers – Drew Cain Won’t Serve Out His Entire Sentence!

Although Drew was sentenced to several years in prison, it seems unlikely that he will serve the full sentence. But by then, Carly may have reunited with Sonny. Drew won’t likely be along for long, and he may certainly reconnect with a former flame.

It’s possible that he could reunite with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), but she seems happy with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) now. What seems more likely is a reconnection between Drew and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst).

When Drew first came to town, he had no idea who he really was. He became involved with Elizabeth during this time. Elizabeth incorrectly believed that Drew was actually Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). Elizabeth kept this information from Drew and this was the reason they eventually broke up.

But even then, they retained a pretty close connection up until the time Drew disappeared when his plane apparently went down. Drew was gone for two years, and since his return he hasn’t really spent much time with Elizabeth. But that could soon change.

Elizabeth hasn’t had an easy time since Drew disappeared. Her husband Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) was murdered by Peter August (Wes Ramsey). And after that, Elizabeth struggled with her mental health thanks to blocked memories from her past.

During this time Elizabeth became involved with Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton). The two of them are currently dating once again, but they don’t seem to be the endgame for each other. This might be exactly the right time for Drew and Elizabeth to reconnect.

Elizabeth has conquered her demons and has even been named the Head Nurse at General Hospital. Drew and Elizabeth could become Port Charles’ newest power couple!
