General Hospital Spoilers: Eddie Explained – Does Ned Subconsciously Miss Being A Musician?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease some interesting plot twists on the horizon. The Quartermaine mansion has been flipped upside down since Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) accident, causing him to believe he’s rockstar Eddie Maine.

Many professionals have chimed in on the reason behind his memory loss, but is it simply because Ned misses being a musician?

General Hospital Spoilers  – Ned Quartermaine Seemed Happy, But Was He?

GH spoilers hint that Eddie and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will continue to bond. A recent episode showed the two talking, and they seem to have reached a nice understanding.

In many ways, it looks as if Olivia will eventually “fall for” Eddie Maine and likely love him just as much as she loves Ned.

Mr. Quartermaine had a pretty amazing life before his accident. He’s married to a bonafide hottie in Olivia, the two are genuinely in love, and he adores Leo Quartermaine (Easton Rocket Sweda).

He’s at a good place with his daughter Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), and while he teeters with mom Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott), the two have a much better relationship than years ago.

GH Spoilers – Time To Ditch The Business Suit For Jeans And A Guitar

During a recent chat with Olivia, Eddie relayed some insight into how much he loves music and the beauty of acoustics.

Could it be that Ned is surfacing this side of himself, and suppressing the “business” part because he misses being a musician?

He’s always been so power-hungry over ELQ, but is that because of the expectations placed by Qs, mainly his mom, and overall societal pressures?

At the end of the day, Ned is an extremely wealthy man. If he wanted to retire from ELQ activities and become a rockstar (as crazy as that sounds), he very well could.

You only live once, and as Olivia continues to accept (and start to like) Eddie Maine, perhaps this is a window for Ned to dump the business suit and keep those ripped jeans on (and guitar handy) for when his memory does return.
