General Hospital Spoilers: Drew Returns, Goes Ballistic On Ned?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that when Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) returns from Greenland, he’ll be met with an insider trading lawsuit and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) too. First, he delivers precious cargo in the form of Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) likely to GH, but he suspects pretty quickly Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) turned them in, and he’s ballistic!

General Hospital Spoilers – Mission Of Mercy

Drew basically went on a mission of mercy, although taking down Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) was a big part of it. But his main goal was to get Liesl back to Port Charles so she could donate her bone marrow to Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen). But what really angers Drew is when he finds out Carly was arrested while he was in Greenland and all her assets were frozen because of the investigation.

Aurora’s assets were frozen as well, but that doesn’t upset him nearly as much as that Carly had been hauled in. And, considering that Ned had brought up the subject of insider trading previously, both he and Carly suspect he’s behind the whistleblower’s report.

GH Spoilers – Ned Quartermaine Physically Defends Himself

Drew obviously is brought up to speed before he goes to the Quartermaine mansion and confronts Ned, but he’s so mad by that time Ned has to physically defend himself! Drew is absolutely ballistic at the sight of his cousin and his fists begin flying and he punches Ned in the face.

But Ned doesn’t start his usual defense of sanctimoniously defending his actions, he keeps pleading his innocence, and finally Drew calms down even though he doesn’t buy Ned’s story. Drew is confused why Ned would turn him and Carly in for insider trading while Drew was trying to bring Liesl back to save Willow’s life. Nothing about this makes sense to Drew, but at the same time, neither he nor Carly can think of anyone else who might have done this.

General Hospital Spoilers – Ned Quartermaine Selfishly Made Demands Of Valentin Cassadine

General Hospital spoilers show Ned had also selfishly made demands of Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to make statements of his survival prior to the Greenland rescue trip. Valentin and Drew might likely compare notes about Ned, who didn’t care that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) had been recovering from being shot at the time. They were on the same team to bring down Victor and bring back his hostages, so Valentin might make mention Ned was worried about company publicity.

It makes sense to Drew if Ned was selfish enough to nag Valentin into blowing an important mission over “optics” he’d be selfish enough to turn Drew and Carly in. And that’s not good optics regarding Ned if he cannot prove otherwise.
