General Hospital Spoilers: Do Austin And Cyrus Have A Past?

General Hospital spoilers reveal that something is up between Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

Austin arrived in town after Cyrus was already locked away in Pentonville. He missed the crime spree that Cyrus inflicted on the citizens of Port Charles.

Now Dr. Gatlin Holt is treating Cyrus after his heart attack. He says he never met the man, but it looked like that might have been a lie.

General Hospital Spoilers – Austin Gatlin Holt Is Turning Out To Be A Shady Character

Austin was a dull character – until now. They never gave him much to do, which was a waste of the talented Roger Howarth.

It took a while to come to light, but it’s beginning to look like Austin is a bad guy. Who would stage a fake kidnapping just to scare a mother into doing what he wants?

He was leading Ava Jerome (Maura West) to believe he was afraid of his cousin Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey), and his goal was to protect Ava. As things progress, Austin seems just as bad as his creepy cousin. He’s actually becoming a bit creepy himself.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was immediately suspicious of Ava’s new guy. Now that she has told Sonny the truth about being threatened, both cousins are in the mob boss’ sight.

GH Spoilers – Is Cyrus Renault The Boss Behind Mason And Austin?

Cyrus has spent the last few years behind bars, but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t still running his organization.

The Holt cousins have been referring to their very scary “boss” but never mentioned the person by name. Could Cyrus be the one pulling their strings?

Cyrus has been shouting from the rooftops that he has found religion, but most people who know him don’t believe it. Now that he had a brush with death, he claims to be a changed man who wants to do better.

Most of that is because when he was dying, he had a vision of talking to his half-sister Laura Collins (Genie Francis) who helped him to see the error of his ways.

Once the prisoner made it to the hospital, Austin glanced at his file and looked conflicted. In the room, the “new” Cyrus told Autin that he was a man who broke every commandment but now has a new purpose. He proceeds to grab Austin’s wrist which disturbs the doctor.

When Austin pulled away and walked toward the door, Cyrus said, “May the lord protect and bless you… and your family.” Does Cyrus know something about Dr. Holt that we don’t? These two may already be acquainted somehow.
