GH Spoilers: Diane And Nina Butt Heads — And It Sends Sonny’s Attorney’s Spidey Senses into Overdrive

General Hospital spoilers reveal Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has sicced Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) on the SEC case, and he’s hell bent on making sure he unearths the truth about who reported Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) for insider trading. Diane has been digging into the details of the SEC report for days now. Her search is soon to lead her to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who is not as innocent as she appears. Alright, not quite. Her search will lead her to Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), but Nina doesn’t know that. In the interim, as Diane starts poking around, it’s going to drive Nina into a state of complete paranoia, so deep that she might just confess when pressed by Sonny about her odd behavior.

Nina’s curiosity about Diane’s involvement in Sonny’s crusade raises many questions. While she may not report it back to Sonny right away — out of genuine interest in staying out of his personal affairs — Diane won’t forget how odd Nina’s behavior is when she approaches her about the investigation. This isn’t any of Nina’s business; it has nothing to do with her — does it? Diane will start to wonder.

When Diane learns that it was Tracy who ratted Carly and Drew out to the SEC, it’ll all start to make sense. Sonny will blow Carly and Drew away when he shares the news with them, and it’ll travel as fast as Drew can make it to the Q family mansion, where he’ll obviously owe NEd Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) an apology.

Speaking of, will Tracy offer up any apologies of her own to her son for using him as her scapegoat — and gleefully?

Meanwhile, Sonny will stew over how to mitigate the damage and he might take it to heart when Diane mentions she thought Nina may have been involved for a moment there.

In the midst of Diane’s warpath to get to the bottom of this, she may also find other ties that lead back to Nina, but who has time for that right now? Carly and Drew need her focus to be on the SEC.

That being said, when Sonny questions Nina about why she was asking Diane questions, Nina’s answers might not entirely satisfy him. Sonny has sharp instincts and can tell when he’s being lied to.
