General Hospital Spoilers: Dex Isn’t On Sonny’s Side – But Will Dante Be?

General Hospital spoilers reveal Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) has been working against Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) since the day he met him. Brought in by Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to take his father down, Dex has been relentless in working to earn Sonny’s trust — all so he can help bring him to ruins.

There’s just one problem, Michael and Dex’s secret is about to unravel at the seams. When Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) learns Dex is working for someone else as a plant in Sonny’s organization, it’s going to leave him in a tight spot. He’s supposed to be working on the right side of the law against his father, too, but will this take him off-track?

General Hospital spoilers show Dante doesn’t tend to look highly upon the people who work for his father. He doesn’t approve of the things he does or the kind of employment he offers. So it’s not as though Dante ever thought Dex was a great guy, but he did think Sonny harmed him.

When Michael and Josslyn ‘Joss’ Jacks (Eden McCoy) went to great lengths to make sure Sonny couldn’t kill Dex, it wasn’t lost on him that something was amiss. Dante just thought Dex was the victim. He couldn’t have been more wrong.

Learning that Dex is the real bad guy in this equation and that his father is most guilty of merely trusting the wrong person is going to make Dante’s head spin. When he last saw Dex, he was pushing him to roll over on his father, which took Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) by surprise.

She even asked him if he was actively trying to build a case against his own dad, which made Dante sit back and rethink his priorities. He wants a close relationship with his father, who tends to keep him at arms’ length. Will saving him from Dex help him get there?

Dante has a lot to think about. On one hand, if he takes this information to his dad and lets him know what’s up, Sonny is going to realize he and Dante can actually be closer than they are and don’t need to keep their entire lives separate from each other just because he’s a cop.

However, Dante isn’t sure that’s really what he wants. He doesn’t want to know what his dad is up to most of the time and prefers to have plausible deniability about who his father really is. Will there ever be a way to live in the gray space between full disclosure and complete ignorant bliss? Will Dante rush to his father’s aid and alert him to what Dex is up to?
