GH Spoilers: Dante Tears Into Cody As Sam Comes To His Aid

General Hospital Spoilers tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) has been listening intently as Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) makes his case for Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson), but that doesn’t mean Sam is ultimately going to end up on Cody’s side of the fence.

While she might dig up enough evidence to suggest Cody is right that there is a conspiracy happening with Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) to keep Sasha away from her own hard-earned loot, that doesn’t mean it’ll be easy to uncover Dr. Damon Montague’s (Darin Toonder) role in the chaos.

Furthermore, when Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) starts to bolster Sam’s concern for Sasha, Sam may find herself defaulting to supporting Cody’s goals — but they won’t necessarily agree on an approach.

Nonetheless, when Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) comes down hard on Cody, it’ll be Sam who may be inclined to have his back — against her own beau.

With Cody intentionally holding himself out as unstable and attempting to get himself thrown into Ferncliff just so he can get closer to Sasha, Dante isn’t so sure the guy is all that solid after all.

It seems as though Cody might have some seriously disproportionate beef with Gladys that no one else can really make any sense of.

Sure, they all know Gladys is self-serving, a gossip, an opportunist, and a liar, but it’s hard for anyone to wrap their heads around the idea that she would intentionally harm Sasha — and for money, at that. With Cody behaving so erratically, Dante may start thinking he needs to keep a safe professional distance from his pal for a while.

But that doesn’t mean Sam will play by those rules.

Sam doesn’t necessarily work on a different side of the law than Dante does, but she won’t be quick to share what she learns with him either as she digs her heels into Cody’s cause.

This isn’t the first time she’s had to keep such details close to her chest and it’s not likely to be the last for the PI.

But Dante may not take kindly to her helping Cody out when he’s trying to draw boundary lines.

Could Dante be worried that Cody is off his rocker and may be more apt to spill what he knows about the cop?

As Dante grows more frustrated and impatient with Cody’s antics, Sam may start to grow more tolerant of them — much to her man’s dismay.

Sam and Dante aren’t the average couple. Have we ever seen these two fight? Rumor has it we just might soon.

If Cody pulls them in opposite directions and he’s left feeling like Sam is in his corner when Dante isn’t, it could become the straw that breaks the camel’s back where their childhood secret is concerned.
