General Hospital Spoilers: Dante Busts Valentin?!

General Hospital spoilers tease Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) knows Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has been lying about his whereabouts during the fire at Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) townhome.

He was never at ELQ. Furthermore, he lied to Anna about where he was at the time, too.

While she was out for an evening run, someone was lighting her life on fire and she’s starting to question whether Valentin knew something about it.

Dante’s relay of that information to her served a good purpose. He was hopeful Anna would snoop around and/or confront Valentin, and that’s just what she did — to an extent.

General Hospital Spoilers — Anna Devane Is Off Her Game

Anna had no problem digging through Valentin’s briefcase when she woke up and found him missing from her hotel room at the Metro Court in the middle of the night.

It was almost too convenient that he left it behind, given that the contents proved it was something he may have wanted to keep guarded.

Anna had little trouble busting into it and rifling through Valentin’s private documents — one of which quickly linked him to the Pikeman Group.

But fans are chattering about how careless it was of Anna to leave the Pikeman documents out on the table.

While she was rushing to put things back before Valentin saw her sifting through his briefcase, it was out of character for Anna to make such a major misstep.

When he realized the envelope was out, he likely lost all hope of keeping his secret from Anna — or his relationship with her. Likewise, she knows he’s aware that she knows.

If Valentin is working with Pikeman, this means he’s been crossing Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) the whole time, and the don is starting to wisen up to that.

With Sonny threatening to pull out of Pikeman, Valentin is keyed up and worried that the whole deal with Pikeman could fall through — but that doesn’t give us any clues as to where

Anna comes into play. How did she become a part of this mess, and does it all rest on Valentin’s head?

Is Pikeman out to get Anna only to make a point to Valentin that they own him?

General Hospital Spoilers — Who Will Draw The First Line In The Sand?

Dante is curious how Anna might handle her beau’s betrayal, but at the same time, he’s not going to wait around for Anna to get to the bottom of things.

When he presses her on this issue and she bites back, it’ll be clear to Dante that Anna may not be ready to accept that Valentin was faking all along and has been playing her for a fool – costing her everything in the process.

If Dante runs to Sonny with his intel on Valentin, it’s certain the Cassadine would be a dead man.
