General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest more drama surrounding the Metro Court shooting. Unfortunately, while the target from the shooter was likely either Anne Devane (Finola Hughes) or Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) ended up getting shot. Now, his life hangs in the balance.

GH Spoilers: Curtis Ashford Will Struggle To Recover, But He Will Be Okay

There’s a good chance that Curtis will live; however, he’s likely got a long road ahead in terms of recovery. Although, this is the land of soap operas, and anything is possible. Mr. Ashford passing away would be a shocker as he is an established character.

Still, if he does end up surviving this shooting, he has a long road to recovery. Mr. Ashford will need all hands on deck when it comes to his family, friends, and wife.

GH Spoilers: Portia Robinson Has Been Sick With Worry

Sadly, tragic events have a way of putting things in perspective. While Curtis kissing Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and not telling Portia about it was wrong, it wasn’t the worst thing in the world.

It’s definitely something the couple can move on from. In light of recent events, Ms. Robinson will likely realize just how precious life, love, and time is. She may come to the conclusion that it’s better to try and move on from this minor incident, rather than dwell on it.

As Portia is a doctor, her love, support, and advice will be a great benefit to Curtis. With Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) reeling from what’s happened to her bio dad, Portia could decide to “clean the slate” with Curtis and give their new marriage yet another go.

After all, Ashford was willing to forgive her for her decades-old lie, can’t she move forward from a small lip lock with his ex-wife?

Will Curtis’s shooting offer him and Portia a second chance? Will Robinson push her reservations aside for both her marriage and daughter?
