General Hospital spoilers reveal Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is barely hanging on to the life he thought he was living, and he’s about to be blindsided once again. Everywhere Curtis looks, it seems that someone he loves has betrayed him.

This started a few years ago amidst a string of lies from his now-ex then-wife, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper). He thought he found a transparent and honest love with Portia that would last him a lifetime, but instead, he found more lies.

Not only that, but she managed to drag his ex, along with his aunt, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) into the mix with her. Can Curtis trust anyone anymore?

General Hospital Spoilers — Curtis Ashford Can’t Forgive Portia Robinson

Curtis is struggling to come to terms with what has happened to his relationship with Portia. How did they fall so far so fast? The truth is, she was living in a completely different relationship than he was — one that was armed with far more information. Now, Curtis is running from his feelings because he isn’t ready to confront and digest them.

That would likely mean he would have to admit to himself that he isn’t ready to forgive Portia, and he probably never will be. Curtis knows himself. He had to go through this with Jordan, and it wasn’t easy letting go of his marriage just because he couldn’t get over what she did — kept the truth from him.

Now, he’s not so sure he wants to do it again, but does he have a choice? Can he exist in this marriage knowing he doesn’t trust Portia and can’t ever forget what she did to him?

Soon, Curtis will have a new distraction to pull his attention away from how much he doesn’t want to feel for or think about Portia.

Unfortunately, he may stumble upon a very different kind of distraction first — booze. Curtis is a recovery addict, and he’s kept himself on the straight and narrow for many years, despite any hardships he incurred.

He’s not one to throw it all away over a broken heart, and he probably wouldn’t react this way over just Portia, but having a potential daughter in the mix has really thrown him for a loop.

Curtis might think there is no way any stone could be left unturned at this point and that every lie must be out in the open, but he couldn’t be more wrong. Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) has been hiding things about his life and himself ever since he came back into his son’s life.

Although Marshall seems as invested as ever in Curtis’ life and wellbeing, that may merely be because he raised him for part of his life — not because he is actually Curtis’ dad.
