General Hospital Spoilers: Could Dex Be Ava Jerome’s Nephew, Owen Ryan?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors tease there’s another candidate for Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) true identity and parentage. Considering Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) mother, Delia Ryan (Ilene Kristen) name has been brought up, might he really be Ava’s younger half-nephew Owen Ryan (Jamie O’Neill)?

General Hospital Spoilers – Ava Jerome Was The First Life He Saved

No one really seems to know where Dex came from or who his family is other than he spent some time in the military. Although he could be in his late twenties or early thirties, he could be a youngish looking thirty-six easily-which is what Owen would be now.

Ava’s was the first life he helped save from the Hook, her being the first attack victim at the Quartermaine picnic last year, and now he’s protecting her again.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is suspicious about Ava’s friend Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) and his connection to Ava out of protection for Avery Jerome-Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola). Out of protection for her and her mother, he’s having Dex follow Austin, and if he’s really Owen, then Avery’s his cousin.

GH Spoilers – New Nanny Betty Rutherford Makes Threats

Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Gray) set up Avery to have a new nanny, Betty Rutherford (Ella Lentini) but Ava will have her regrets-Betty is threatening her mother, Delia.

Ava will come clean to Sonny about Mason and Austin’s involvement in Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) presumed death but she won’t want help with Betty-yet.

Ava will have more explaining to do and new reasons to worry, and ultimately she might come clean to Sonny about that too, since she was to get info on Pikeman.

There seems to be a thread linking Dex to Ava since he first saved her life-and linking him now to Avery-could it be because he’s family?

General Hospital Spoilers: Family Takes Care Of Family

It’s known that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) found Dex-somewhere-and when Chet Driscoll (Chris Van Etten) left town Dex took over for him at Volonino’s Gym.

From there he was “planted” into Sonny’s organization, but was he in town because of Chet, or for some other reason-apparently Michael recruited him when he was working at the gym.

It seems that Dex was trying to get close to Sonny way before Michael recruited him as a plant in his organization; might that really be because of Ava and Avery?

There certainly seems to be a distinct possibility that Dex could in reality be Delia’s grandson, Ava’s nephew and Avery‘s cousin Owen. That would make a lot more sense than some of the other possibilities.
