General Hospital Spoilers: Cody Throws Grieving Sasha Under the Bus

General Hospital Spoilers reveal Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) recently met Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattson), and it wasn’t lost on him that they shared a bit in common. That being said, Sasha has celebrity status in some circles and boasts a much larger bank account than Cody likely ever will. So, he doesn’t consider himself an equal to her or anywhere in her league.

Grieving widow or not, when he sees the opportunity to exploit what he learned from his conversation with Sasha, he won’t turn it down. Now that he knows her Gladys is Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs), he has a choice to make, and once again he’s going to choose in favor of himself.

General Hospital Spoilers — Gladys Corbin Has Lost Sasha Gilmore Corbin’s Fortune

When Gladys was invited to play poker with Selina Wu (Lydia Look) and her friends, she felt included for the first time since she moved to Port Charles. Gladys has always been chasing a lifestyle of fame and fortune. She thinks money buys happiness and wants to be known as someone who is in the “in” crowd — not just someone who knows other people who are in it.

Selina could pick up the scent of desperation from Gladys’ demeanor from a mile away and was intrigued the moment Gladys told her she had access to all of Sasha’s money. Surely, the face of Deception has quite a large sum in savings, but little does Selina know, much of Sasha’s money was invested in keeping Deception afloat while Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) was missing in action.

GH Spoilers – Hint Cody Bell Could Help Her

It didn’t take long for Cody to connect the dots about Gladys when he saw her chit-chatting with Selina. He knows Selina drives a hard bargain and shows no one any mercy, least of all someone who does have access to the money she is owed. Now that both Lucy and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) are allegedly deceased, General Hospital spoilers show that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Sasha will have to work double time to make sure the company doesn’t shudder in their absence.

This might mean needing to bring in more personal funds, which could lead to quite a crimp in Sasha’s relationship with her mother-in-law if she won’t agree to it as Sasha’s legal guardian. Cody might be able to come to Gladys’ rescue, but instead, he may choose to prey on her connection to Sasha instead.

General Hospital Spoilers — But He Won’t

Gladys looks like just the type of woman who makes for an easy mark. She’s naive; she’s desperate for attention, and she wants to feel included. Cody is just a predatory as Selina is in some aspects and he won’t shy away from holding Gladys’ mistakes over her head if he sees a way that it might benefit him, such as getting Gladys to give Sasha her blessing to date Cody — an issue that could become front and center soon when Gladys feels it’s too soon after Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) death for Sasha to consider dating.
